PINTON 1867

Since 1867, world-renowned artists such as Pablo Picasso, Alexandre Calder, Sonia Delaunay, Etel Adnan, Fernando Botero, Beatriz Milhazes and many others have seized on the know-how of the manufac ture creusoise to create original works. As the benchmark for Aubusson rugs and tapestries, PINTON is delighted to invite you to its exhibition at the Casa del Manzoni, in the heart of historic Milan.

On this occasion, three new collaborations with artists and designers Anne-Sophie Pailleret, Bismut&Bismut and Pinton StudioLab will be presented, as well as the Tissage des Flandres know-how and the new Pinton collections.

ANNE-SOPHIE PAILLERET

Anne-Sophie Pailleret

This first collaboration with Anne-Sophie Pailleret draws on PInton's diverse expertise. The collection is composed of a wall hanging, two Prét à porter rugs and a haute couture rug.

A graduate of the Ecole Boulle in interior architecture and decoration, Anne-Sophie Pailleret set up her own agency in 2010. She has completed numerous projects in private spaces (flats, private mansions) and public spaces (hotels, showrooms and restaurants). Based on a genuine search for unique pieces of furniture and works of art, her main objectives are to convey the life and warmth of a space, with marked elegance and refinement. However, she never forgets comfort, to ensure that the customer's experience is as pleasant as possible.

Anne Sophie Pailleret's meeting with the Pinton factory was an opportunity for her to express her creativity once again, in dialogue with the Manufacture's textile teams.

DANIEL AND MICHEL BISMUT

Daniel and Michel Bismut

Daniel and Michel Bismut are French architects and interior designers. They've been working with Pinton for years, so this collaboration seemed obvious. The Cinétique carpet presented today in preview is the beginning of a complete collection which will be unveiled soon.

They create personal and unique designs for residential and commercial projects, including high-end apartments, embassies, hotels and concept stores around the world. They work on a wide range of projects and scales, from the detail of a piece of furniture to the architecture of a building.

Their projects focus on volumes, lines, space and materials...
They simplify the architectural vocabulary, keeping only the bare essentials. Their work has been widely published in French and foreign editions of specialist magazines such as Architectural Digest, Elle Deco, Harper's bazaar, Ideat etc...

PINTON STUDIO LAB

katrin Herden

The PINTON Studio Lab, it’s a team of creatives and design & textile researchers brought together to imagine the rugs of the future. Managed by Lydie Joffre and her teams, this research studio is the creative heart of Pinton. The rug presented here is from the Atlas collection. This collection is composed of 6 designs as well as a series of tweeds. With «ATLAS» we are inspired by these cartographic visions to present a collection of textile territories that speak of the earth, the soil, plots and roots.
